STD Testing & Treatment

Hybrid MD Urgent Care offers the convenience for those who want to be up to date with their current status. Sexual Transmitted Diseases ( STD ) or Sexual Transmitted Infections ( STI ) can become more complicated if they are not diagnosed and treated quickly.  We encourage people who are sexual active to be tested frequently, for your own safety and the safety of others. Knowing your status is the first step to preventing the spread of STDs.

Currently, we are offering 4 types of STD tests, which are:

  • HIV (Rapid test is available in house)
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphllis

Other options for bloodwork are available upon request. We provide a non-discriminatory policy to everyone. Hybrid MD Urgent Care welcomes patients from all walks of life to be treated in a non-judgmental environment. Our goal is your safety and your well-being.

All the laboratory test is done primarily at Quest Laboratory. For Monarch HMO patients, the contracted Laboratory will be LabCorp. Both laboratories utilize the most current and the most accurate tests, approved by CDC and Public Health Department.

Results are usually available within 24 hours and per your request, we can forward the result to your primary care physician. Please set up an appointment with Hybrid MD Urgent Care in the Courtyards at Talega, San Clemente  to check your status now.

What if I don’t have any insurance? Can I still get tested for STD?

If you don’t have any insurance, we always recommend paying thru us directly for any bloodwork or urinalysis. Hybrid MD Urgent Care works closely with Quest Laboratory to offer discount rate for lab work. You will save a lot of money by using our provider rate versus self-pay rate at the laboratory facility. All results from bloodwork is only sent to our office directly within 2-3 business days. We understand STD diagnosis and treatment can be a very sensitive subject, so we want to assure you, your information is fully protected within our office.
