Who is Kevin Ferguson?
Born Charles Kevin Ferguson, the 7th of 8 children and the unexpected twin, arriving 9 minutes after his sister was delivered; he made a quiet entrance on the world. It comes as no surprise that he likes to remain out of the lime light. Kevin was raised in Chester Pennsylvania, in the community of Highland Gardens, then a “Norman Rockwell” type of neighborhood with a close knit circle of family and friends. Being one of eight, Kevin Ferguson learned early on that unless you are creative, able to learn fast, and willing to sacrifice and honor your word, you will not stand out and can quickly be forgotten.
Kevin Ferguson had a strong sense of independence and courage which helped him to work his way through catholic high school by taking on odd jobs to help his parents pay for his education. Kevin thought fast on his feet and developed a keen sense of street smarts that he learned to utilize at every opportunity. After high school, Kevin entered the customer service industry starting in travel and tourism and grew with each exciting destination and the many satisfied clients he worked with. Kevin then took the customer service skills he developed and moved on to FedEx where he was a courier for ten years. FedEx offered a very different aspect in customer service and the relationship he developed with his customers caused him to push consistently to surpass their expectations. Looking for a fresh opportunity to grow, Kevin headed to the bright lights of Las Vegas where he took on many customer service jobs and while working as an assistant to some of the headliners on the strip, Kevin found a completely different take on customer service, sometimes you have to be everything to everybody!
After five years, Kevin Ferguson headed back to family and friends on the east coast and decided that his next great adventure in customer service would be in Hospitality Management. Kevin started out at the hotel du Pont in Wilmington Delaware, and then four years later he moved over to the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia again in front office management, and then four years later he accepted a management position at the finest Five Diamond hotel in Philadelphia, Four Seasons Hotel. Kevin’s experience at the Four Seasons Hotel raised all the bars on his expectation on the delivery of customer service. Make Every Guest feel like they are your only guest!! Kevin has worked with every type of guest from family’s on vacation to executives, celebrities, Fortune 500 CEO’s and heads of state.
Kevin Ferguson believes that his entire journey through the world of customer service has all happened just to prepare him for this, his most exciting opportunity – Practice Administrator and COO for Hybrid MD.
